Adult Summer Softball

This summer we will be offering four (4) adult softball divisions: Coed Lower, Men's Lower, Coed Upper, and Men's Upper. All divisions will play a total of ten (10) games. Inclement weather may affect season dates. Captains will register their team in the appropriate level/division. If needed, teams may be moved to a different division at the discretion of the Pueblo Parks and Recreation Department to keep the league competitive and fun for all teams playing. All games will be played at City Park Field 3, City Park Field 4, and Joe Santos Field. The top eight (8) teams in each division will compete in a single elimination end-of-season tournament. 

Individuals that are not attached to any team may contact our administration office at 719-553-2790 to be placed on a "Free-Agent" list that will be distributed to each team for consideration to add to roster.

Registration: March 1 - May 2, 2025
Late Registration: May 12 - May 20, 2025
Fee: $450 per team, all divisions
Additional Late Registration Fee: $50

Note: Teams are responsible for providing their own game balls throughout the season 12 inch, 44 COR .375 compression softball (flight restricted softball).

Regular Season: Monday, June 2 - Friday, August 8
End of the Season Tournament: Monday, August 11 - Friday, August 15, 2025
Fridays will be used as game make-up days.

Mandatory Captain Meeting: Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 6:00pm via ZOOM. Captains will receive league rules, game schedules and have the opportunity to ask questions. Captains must attend the meeting. 

Definitions of Levels for Divisions

Pueblo Parks and Recreation will be offering 4 adult softball divisions:

  • Co-ed Upper 
  • Co-ed Lower
  • Men's Upper
  • Men's Lower

Coed/Men's Upper

Teams placed in these divisions will be the teams that finish in the top half of their respective leagues following the two (2) week seeding tournament. Teams in these divisions consist of players that are knowledgeable of the game. They are more skilled and half the ability to display those skills regularly. Competitive teams are consistently able to identify and perform offensive and defensive strategies and abilities. Three (3) home runs allowed per game, per team.  Any home run after the limit will be considered an out. 

Coed/Men's Lower

Teams placed in these divisions will be the teams that finish in the bottom half of their respective leagues following the two (2) week seeding tournament. Teams in these divisions are built for the recreational aspect of softball with a lower level of competition. These players may or may not lack consistent knowledge and skills of offensive and defensive tactics. Many of these teams are work teams or families and are her to have fun. Three (3) home run allowed per game, per team.  Any home run after the limit will be considered an out.
