A 2-1/2" caliber, balled and burlap tree may be selected at the request of the deceased's family or by another sponsor with the written concurrence of the deceased's family.
Memorial trees will only be planted in the spring or fall to give the tree the best chance to survive. The location and species of the tree will be determined through communication between staff and the applicant. An approved species will be determined based on the desired species for the site. The tree plaque will be placed on a concrete base flush with the ground so as not to deter mowing. The plaque will be no larger than 4" X 6" in size. The plaque can accommodate up to two names.
