Winter Basketball
Lil’ Dribblers provides youth participants an introduction to the game of basketball. They will learn basic skills and teamwork. Lil’ Dribblers is geared towards participants ages 4 to 8. The league will run for six weeks. The first week will be a clinic and the following five weeks will be games. All participants will receive a reversible Pueblo Parks and Recreation jersey which will be used for team uniforms. No other uniforms will be allowed. Players have the option to request a coach or register as an individual and teams will be randomly selected.
Divisions: coed, 4–5 and 6–8 years old

Junior Hoopsters basketball provides youth participants the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game, run basic game plans, and focus on team play with good sportsmanship and FUN! This recreational league will run for six weeks. No tournament will be held. All participants will receive a reversible Pueblo Parks and Recreation jersey which will be used for team uniforms. No other uniforms will be allowed. Players have the option to request a coach or register as an individual and teams will be randomly selected.

Hoopsters Elite basketball provides the opportunity to play as a team in a competitive setting. The league is designed to teach advanced skill development and good sportsmanship in a competitive environment. There will be an end-of-season tournament held. Teams are responsible for their own uniforms. Certified officials will officiate games.
Players must already be on an already pre-formed/established team to register. Players must register as an individual and request your coach/team during the registration process. If you are not on a team and would like to register for Hoopsters Elite, please call the Pueblo Parks and Recreation office at 719-553-2790 to be placed on a free agent waiting list. Being placed on a free agent wait list does not guarantee you will be placed on a competitive team as coaches have control of their own rosters.

Per City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation policy, teams that reserve their own practice gyms, outside of the allotted official staffed practices, are NOT allowed to utilize the City of Pueblo liability insurance and must purchase their own.
