Pueblo Parks and Recreation Park Rangers Mission:

To educate, advise and assist users to better enjoy their experience and develop a favorable personal connection to the parks, trails and open spaces of Pueblo.

Purpose:

To encourage safe and responsible use of all areas in the park system, while establishing a rapport with the users to develop compliance awareness and pride in the city park properties.
 
The Pueblo Parks and Recreation's Park Ranger program was established in 2010. It was created to help the public with park issues, concerns, and questions, as well as to help facilitate daily activities in the parks. The rangers patrol about 85 parks, 24 miles of trail, 47 playgrounds, Lake Minnequa Veteran's Memorial Park and sports fields, Anthony Langoni Sports Complex, Sergeant Blake Harris Skate Park, El Centro del Quinto Sol Recreation Center and skate park, seven (7) softball fields, four (4) outdoor pools, The Rides at City PArk and Pueblo Ice Arena within the city of Pueblo. Many of these parks and facilities can be utilized for family gathering, reunions, special events and many other public functions. To reserve an area, contact the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office at (719) 553-2790 or stop by the office at 800 Goodnight Ave. 81005 in Pueblo City Park. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, except for holidays.
