Special Rentals

Caboose

Amenities include direct access to caboose area (enter and exit by tennis courts), outdoor seating for up to 56, refrigerator, and picnic tables. You may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages; however, no grills will be allowed inside the fenced area. Access to the ride area is only available during The Rides at City Park regular season hours. No Rentals will be held on holidays or special event nights.

Purple Pavillion

The Party Pavilion is available for rental throughout our season during the ride's operating hours only. Amenities include a reserved shaded area with electricity and outdoor seating for up to 50, including accessible pathways. The party may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages; however, no grills will be allowed inside the fenced area. No smoking, alcohol or pets allowed.  No rentals will be held on holidays or special event nights.

  • Reservations open March 1st
  • Fee:  $100 for two-hour rental
  • $50 Refundable Deposit

Field Trips

  • Reservations open February 1st
  • Field Trip rentals are $250 per 50-minute block.
  • We recommend less than 100 Riders per block to ensure each child gets to ride every ride. Height restrictions still apply.
  • The Train and Carousel will NOT run during this type of rental.
  • Approval of reservation must be completed by The Rides Team prior to payment. 
  • Please arrange and confirm transportation such as buses before reserving your time. Any changes to your reservation are subject to availability.

GUIDE FOR RESERVING A FIELD TRIP: Steps 1-5 are recommended to be completed prior to reservations opening.

  1. Access our online reservation system at the link below:

  2. Create/Login to your account. (You may already have an account and not even know it. If you get this error, please use the “Forgot Password” link to gain access to your account).
  3. Click on the Yellow “Facility Reservations” tab.
  4. You will see a list of facilities. Please Click on “The Rides at City Park, Field Trip”.
  5. On the Calendar, please navigate to May. You will see any available days in Green or Yellow. By clicking on these dates, you will be able to see available times.
  6. (Only available once reservations have opened) Add desired time slot to the cart and follow steps to complete the transaction. Please note that your permit will list an hour reservation, however, this includes the time allotted for exiting the facility. Rides will only be run for 50 Minutes.
  7. Once your transaction has been processed your reservation will be sent to The Rides Team for approval.
  8. Once approved, you will receive an emailed invoice with a link for payment. Please arrange payment ASAP. Your reservation is NOT confirmed until payment has been processed.

Private Rentals

  • Reservations open March 1st
  • Full Exclusive access to rides area, all rides including train and carousel.
  • No Rentals will be approved for holidays or special event nights.
  • Refundable Deposit $200
  • Private Rental:   $1000 for two (2) hours
  • Non-profit Private Rental:  $800 for two (2) hours All non-profits MUST submit proof of 501(c)3 status.

All reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance of rental date.  Inclement weather, such as lightning, for any rentals within the premises of The Rides at City Park may require evacuation of ALL patrons. No smoking, alcohol or pets allowed on the premises of The Rides at City Park
