Swimming Lessons
The City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation is proud to partner with Starfish Aquatic Institute to offer learn-to-swim lessons.
Customers are encouraged to update or create their account in CivicRec prior to the start of registration (CivicRec). This will help expedite the process and improve the customers' ability to enroll in the lessons they want. While online registration is recommended, customers can register by phone (719) 553-2790 or in-person at 800 Goodnight Avenue, 81005 Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Learn to Swim
These classes are designed to promote comfort around the water with small class size and energetic instructors.
Sessions will consist of eight (8) 30-minute lessons per session.
Days: Tuesday and Thursday evenings
Ages: 4 - 14 years
Location: Pueblo South High School Pool, 1801 Hollywood Drive, 81005
Fee: $40 per participant/session
Stroke School
This course is available to those who have successfully completed a learn-to-swim program. Participants should be able to swim 25 meters front crawl and backstroke unassisted. This program will focus on refining their competitive strokes.
Sessions will consist of eight (8) 30-minute lessons per session.

Ages: 6 - 14 years

Fee: $40 per participant/session

Winter Session 1: January 27 - February 19, 2026
