Pueblo Commission on Energy

About the Board

This commission advises the Mayor on ways the City may officially encourage and bring about better and more effective use of energy in all its forms within the City and to aid in the development of contingency plans as may be necessary in the event of emergency energy shortages. The Commission shall foster the concept of energy conservation and understanding among the citizens of the City and disseminate information appropriate to this purpose; cooperate with agencies and nongovernmental organizations having like or kindred functions; make such investigations and studies in the field of energy conservation; and recommend programs, activities and legislation to the City Council to carry out the functions of the Commission.
