About the Board
The Board of Elections recommends such rules and regulations as necessary for the conduction of elections for approval to City Council. It also provides for:
- Absentee voting
- Appointment, removal, compensation, and terms of judges of elections
- Ballots and sample ballots
- Canvass of returns
- Issuance of appropriate certificates
- Determination of the winner in case of a tie vote
