FAQ’s regarding Electronic Delivery of Discovery
We fulfill requests in as timely a manner as possible. Please allow at least 7-10 business days for processing.
If you are requesting the information be delivered electronically, you will provide us with an e-mail address and receive an e-mail when your request has been completed. When you make your request, you will be assigned a PIN number with which to access it. You will have to pay the associated fee before you can download the provided materials.
The fee schedule dictated by City Resolution No. 12975 governs the cost of discovery requests to compensate the City for the actual costs incurred in honoring your request (Please see the form below for specific charges).
If you are having trouble finding the e-mailed discovery, we ask that you please verify that it is not in the “junk” or “spam” folders as some of the requests occasionally end up there. If you still are having problems, please contact our office at 719-562-3899. While we cannot solve IT issues related to the request, we can try to ensure you receive the information in an alternate way if need be.
The requested information will be available to you electronically for up to 90 days after which time a new request would need to be made
It is a breach of privacy and illegal to request information on a case you are not a defendant or attorney on record for the defendant for. If you do not qualify as either of those, please see the section below regarding other records requests.
