Lose Something?

To find a lost item, call Customer Service at (719) 553-2727 (press 1 for Customer Service).

To find an Item that has been lost longer than 24hrs, call (719) 553-2711.

In special situations, we may be able to contact bus operators in an attempt to locate certain essential items:

  • Phones
  • Wallets/purses
  • Prescriptions
  • Personal documentation that could pose a threat of Identity theft
  • Laptops
  • Essential medical supplies/device (for example, an oxygen tank).

If we are able to confirm that an item matching the description you lost was recovered, you are welcome to meet the operator on the route or recover with Customer Service at the Transit Center.

Please note:

Although Pueblo Transit cannot confirm a recovered item is yours, we can confirm that a recovered item matches your description and is with a driver or in Lost and Found.

Pueblo Transit is not responsible for lost items, but we will do our best to reunite with their owners.

Lost and Found Locations

Items lost the same day can be recovered at the Transit Center (123 Court St.)

All found items that are not thrown away or turned into security and Pueblo PD are sent to Pueblo Transit’s Main office (350 Alan Hamel Ave). Items are retained for at least 10 days prior to being destroyed or donated to charity.

Items found on Pueblo Transit property are normally available for pick-up Monday-Friday from 8:00A-4:30P

Lost and Found Procedures

Before an item can be returned, you will be required to fill out a lost and found return form for identity and security purposes.

The Following Items will be disposed of immediately

Food and beverage, including containers and lunch bags in poor condition

Certain clothing items, including undergarments, soiled/smelly items, single gloves, etc.

Toiletries, including brushes, combs, toothbrushes, make-up, etc.

Camping items in poor condition, including sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, tarps, etc.

Certain audio/electronic items, including CDs not in cases, batteries, headphones in poor condition, etc.

Other: small plastic toys, used baby bottles, pipes and tobacco items, undefinable loose papers, empty eyeglass cases, bikes missing tire(s) and backpacks in poor condition or empty.

The Following Items will be turned into Pueblo Transit Security or Pueblo P.D. and are not available for return:

  • Marijuana
  • Syringes and other drug paraphernalia
  • Scissors
  • Shears
  • Chemicals
  • Guns
  • Knives
  • Other miscellaneous items deemed as possible security or public health threats.

Lost Bikes

All lost bikes will be held at the Pueblo Transit office. After 10 days all unclaimed bikes are donated to charity.
