Pueblo Police Department Makes Homicide Arrests after Investigation of September Shooting of Nicholas Grace
Pueblo, CO― The Pueblo Police Department has identified and charged two suspects in connection with the September 26 homicide of Nicholas Grace, 56, that occurred on the 1100 block of Pueblo Boulevard Way and Red Creek Springs Road.
Dewayne Ingram, 20, is currently in custody in El Paso County, Colorado on previous charges and now faces a First-Degree Murder charge in Grace’s death. Aaron Alvarado, 24, was arrested on charges of Second-Degree Murder, Complicity to Aggravated Robbery, and Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery and booked in the Pueblo County Detention Center.

Pueblo Police Department Investigates City’s 16th Homicide
Pueblo, CO - On Thursday, September 26, 2024, at approximately 3:08 a.m. Pueblo Police responded to the 1100 block of Pueblo Boulevard Way on the report of a panic alarm and possible shooting.
Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased male victim in the establishment’s parking lot. The deceased victim will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications. The Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
This is an active and ongoing investigation, and updates will be provided to the public as more information becomes available. This is the 16th homicide in Pueblo in 2024.
