Pueblo Police Make Arrest of Suspect in Repeated Burglary and Property Damage of The Downtown Bar
Pueblo, CO— In the early morning hours of July 9 and July 11, 2025, Pueblo Police officers responded to reports of two separate burglaries of The Downtown Bar. Video of a male suspect was obtained, and officers began searching for his whereabouts. On July 16, 2025, during a routine patrol of the downtown area, Pueblo PD officers identified a male matching the description of the suspect in the video and contacted him.
During the check of Dixon’s name, it was discovered he had two warrants for his arrest for Fugitive of Justice and Failure to Appear for the original charges of Trespass II and Littering with a total PR Bond of $300.00. Dixon was booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center (PCDC) on his warrants. He was not booked on the burglary and criminal mischief charges as prior to this contact, the identity of the suspect was unknown. Once he was identified and booked for the previous warrants, officers immediately began preparing the warrants for the burglary and criminal mischief related to the incidents on July 9 and 11. Unfortunately, due to the issuance of the PR bond for his initial offenses, Dixon was released from the PCDC within three and a half hours.
The warrants in connection with the burglary and property damage were obtained, and Pueblo Police officers immediately began searching for him. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on the morning of July 18, 2025, officers re-located Dixon in the 0 – 100 block of East Abriendo Avenue, he was arrested and booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center for the Felony charges of two counts of 2nd Degree Burglary and two counts of Criminal Mischief (estimated damage of $7,000.00) with a $5,000.00 cash-only bail.
