Homicide Investigation

On July 21, 2024, at approximately 2:42 P.M., the Pueblo Police Department was notified of a deceased body close to the river near the 2800 block of Dillon Drive.
Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. Crimes Against Persons Detectives and Crime Scene Investigation Detectives are investigating this death as a homicide.
The deceased victim in this incident will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications. The Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death. This is the 15th homicide in Pueblo in 2024.
