On Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, at approximately 2150 hours, officers from the Pueblo Police Department responded to the 800 block of E. Northern Ave (Northern Ave and Orman Ave) in response to a shooting.
Upon their arrival, they located a 23-year-old male suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. The male was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Subsequent investigation leads detectives to believe that the gunshots may have originated from a silver sedan that left the scene immediately following the shooting.
There were several witnesses and vehicles in the area before and after the shooting, but most of those persons left prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
