Pueblo Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting
The Pueblo Police Department is actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, March 31, 2024. At approximately 1:56 A.M., officers were dispatched to a residential area on the south side of Pueblo following reports of a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officials were informed that the incident took place near the intersection of Lancaster Drive and Hollywood Drive. Preliminary investigations revealed that a juvenile male victim had been shot and was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle before police officers arrived at the scene.
Responding officers promptly proceeded to the hospital, where it was confirmed that the juvenile male had sustained a gunshot wound. At the same time, additional police personnel located the scene of the shooting and expanded their investigation efforts in the area.
The Pueblo Police Department's Investigations Division has taken charge of the ongoing investigation. As of this moment, no suspects have been identified, and further details are yet to be determined.
