On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at approximately 11:42 a.m., Pueblo Police received information about a shooting near the intersection of North Erie Avenue and East 6th Street.
The victims were attempting to recover a stolen vehicle. Shots were fired after a confrontation. The suspect’s fled the area in the stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle was recovered in the 1300 block of East 1st Street a short time later.
The victims, an adult male, and adult female were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds for treatment. Pueblo Police are looking for two suspects in the shooting.
