On Thursday, June 15, 2023, at approximately 3:40 a.m., Pueblo Police were dispatched to the 900 block of West Arroyo Avenue in reference to a hit-and-run collision. An adult male victim was struck by a vehicle in the street. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The victim was declared deceased at the hospital. The victim in this incident will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications.
Police interviewed several witnesses and located the hit-and-run vehicle in the 1000 block of East Evans Ave. Crime Scene Investigations and the Traffic section are investigating this incident.
