On Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, at approximately 2:43 p.m., Pueblo police were dispatched to the 400 block of Polk Street on shots fired. Police contacted several juvenile suspects in the area.
A firearm believed to be used in the shooting was recovered along with additional evidence. The suspects are all affiliated with the Feed The Family (FTF) and East Side Duke gangs. A 16-year-old male was arrested for Attempted 1st Degree Murder.
This is the sixth arrest for attempted homicide involving the Feed The Family or East Side Duke gangs in the last two weeks, of the six arrested for attempted homicide, five were juveniles. Additional charges are pending in these investigations.
