Pueblo Police Officers would like to put out a special “Thank You” to two wonderful citizens who took the time to assist an officer.
On Thursday evening, (10/03) officers were stopped on the I-25 on-ramp at 29th Street dealing with an individual in need. Upon their completion it was noticed that one of the vehicles had a flat tire. The officer of that vehicle was left to attend to the tire by himself due to the high call volume and the other officers being needed elsewhere.
The officer was struggling with the tire due to a faulty jack and low light in the area.
It was at that time a female who identified herself as Lisa stopped to assist the officer. The concerned female also called a male who identified himself as Eddie to help. Eddie quickly arrived and assisted the officer in getting his spare tire on so he could return to answering calls for service.
The officers would like to commend Lisa and Eddie for being concerned citizens who took the time to stop and assist an officer in need. Thanks You!
