Pueblo Police Department Investigates Murder-Suicide, First Homicide of 2025
Pueblo, CO- On March 16, 2025, at approximately 8:29 a.m., the Pueblo Police Department received a report of shots fired within a home on the 2200 block of Inspiration Lane. Officers responded and set up a perimeter.
The Pueblo SWAT team arrived on the scene and entered the home where they located two deceased parties. Pueblo Police Crimes Against Persons and Crime Scene detectives processed the scene after a search warrant was executed. The deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide. The Pueblo County Coroner will identify the deceased after appropriate notifications.
This marks the City’s first homicide in 2025.
