On April 7, 2024, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Pueblo Police responded to the 1000 block of Elm Street on a report of a shots fired. Police found an adult male victim on scene with apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was declared deceased on scene. Pueblo Police crimes against persons detectives and crime scene investigations units are investigating this death as a homicide investigation.
At this time, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
The victim in this incident will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications. The Coroner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death. This is the 11th homicide in Pueblo in 2024.
