Pueblo Police have become aware of a scam in which the victim receives a phone call from a person identifying themselves as a Pueblo Police Officer. The caller (scammer) asks for money because the victim allegedly missed a court date and has a warrant. The police will never call to ask for money to clear a warrant. If you believe you are a victim of a scam, please contact the law enforcement agency in your jurisdiction to file a report.
If you think you’ve been a victim of a scam, report it to the Federal Trade Commission.
