
On January 28, 2024, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Pueblo Police received a report of a carjacking involving a handgun near the intersection of East 12th Street and Troy Avenue.
The victim was menaced with a handgun by a female he had meet several hours prior. The female was assisted in the carjacking by a male suspect.
Officers later located the stolen vehicle near the intersection of East 4th St and Glendale Avenue. Following a short pursuit, the driver, 21-year-old Kaylee Segura, was arrested after a brief struggle with police. Segura had an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant for Motor Vehicle Theft.
Segura was booked into jail on the following charges:
Aggravated Robbery, Felony Theft, 2nd Degree kidnapping, Reckless Endangerment, Reckless Driving, and Vehicular Eluding.
