
Hundreds of Counterfeit Bills Seized and Arrests Made in Pueblo After Investigation
On Friday, November 3, 2023, A Pueblo Police Department Community Service Officer became aware of large amounts of counterfeit money being used in Pueblo at different locations.
Pueblo Police Department Crimes Against Property Detectives conducted an investigation and with the assistance of Pueblo Police Department D.I.C.E. Officers, and the United States Secret Service, four suspects were identified.
On Friday, November 10, 2023, detectives were able to locate and arrest 38-year-old Christopher Tate, 27-year-old Terrance McCoy, and 28-year-old Maurice McCoy without incident. All three suspects were booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.
A fourth suspect has been identified with charges pending.
