PUEBLO—The City of Pueblo invites residents, local businesses, nonprofits and other community partners to participate in the second annual “Lucky to Live in Pueblo” social media campaign. The campaign runs March 15 through March 22 and is primarily focused on positive sentiment on social media to highlight why people love Pueblo.
“We launched this initiative last year around St. Patrick’s Day because we associate luck with the holiday, then chose to run it through March 22 because it’s recognized as Pueblo Flag Day,” said Director of Public Affairs Haley Sue Robinson. “It’s a short timeframe to encourage everyone to share what they love about our community.”
Throughout the campaign the City of Pueblo will feature short testimonials from Mayor Heather Graham, members of Pueblo City Council, City employees and residents of Pueblo. Businesses, nonprofits and community partners were asked to participate with their own testimonials from themselves or employees and to use the hashtag #LuckyToLiveInPueblo to brand the campaign.
Follow the City of Pueblo on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CityofPueblo or on Instagram @CityofPueblo to see the spotlights shared throughout the March 15-22 campaign.
“Share your favorite Pueblo tradition like attending the Cannon Game or Bell Game, how you love to go to Taffy’s for a cinnamon sucker, or how much you enjoy our amazing Arkansas River trail system,” said Robinson. “We all have our unique reasons of why we love Pueblo, and this is an opportunity to share why we love to call it home.”
