PUEBLO—The City of Pueblo announces the availability of the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed Sun Mountain Boulevard Project. The EA evaluates the impacts of creating a new roadway connection between 24th Street and 31st Street, including two intersections to improve connections on the west side of Pueblo.

The EA will be available for public review beginning Feb. 9, 2026, at the Robert Hoag Rawlings Branch of the Pueblo City-County Library, at the City of Pueblo Planning Department and online at pueblo.us/westsideimprovements. Comments will be accepted through March 9, 2026. 

Comments may be submitted by email to pueblowestsideproject@getinfonow.us, through the online survey at pueblo.us/westsideimprovements, or by mail: City of Pueblo Planning Department, 211 East D Street, Pueblo, CO 81003. Comments, including names and contact information, will become part of the public record.
