The department, in cooperation with Public Works will be designing and coordinating the replacement of old sections of asphalt trail along the east side of Pueblo Boulevard

The section of the original trail from Lehigh Avenue to Northern Avenue will be replaced with a 10' wide concrete trail. The landscaping along this corridor will also be upgraded to reflect the use of western landscape and lower maintenance needs.

This section is the first phase of a multi-phased streetscape project from Northern Avenue to Thatcher Avenue. The city will administer the design, construction drawings and construction management.

The project is being funded with 1-A Pueblo County bond funds and city landscape maintenance funds.
