Contaminated recycling bins have a greater chance of being sent to the landfill. Do your part, and please use the correct bin for your item.
We have separate bins for: Cardboard, Glass, 1 & 2 Plastics, White Office Paper, Mixed Paper, Aluminum, & Steel/Tin Cans.

PLASTICS (THROW OUT LIDS PLEASE)
Water bottles, soda bottles, salad dressing containers, and many transparent plastic food containers marked with a "1" enclosed by a recycling arrow triangle are permitted for recycling.
Milk jugs, detergent bottles, shampoo bottles, and other often opaque, high-density, or thick plastic bottles that bear the "2" symbol encircled by a recycling arrow triangle are gladly accepted for recycling.
