Licensing Forms

If you have a location in the City of Pueblo (i.e., storefront, live in city, restaurant, service-related offices etc.) then you need to visit the Sales Tax Business License in City Limits page to start the routing process for the location. The routing will be electronically performed on the City Place Portal. You’ll need to create an account and provide detailed information. Once the routing is approved, you’ll then visit the Sales Tax Division to make payment of license fees, provide a completed application and all other required documentation to finalize the process.

If you are only working in the City of Pueblo (i.e., contractor has a project, out of town food truck etc.) and you do not have a location (i.e., store front etc.) the routing process IS NOT REQUIRED. The Sales/Use Tax application will need to be completed which will then need to be mailed in to the Sales Tax Division at PO BOX 1427, Pueblo, CO 81002 or brought into our office at 1 City Hall Place. Fees will be due before a license will be issued.

HOTEL/MOTEL BOARDING LICENSE: Please use the Lodging Renewal to start the annual routing/inspection process required to obtain your annual license. Once completed and approved your license will be issued. Pay your fees in January regardless of the routing not completed to avoid late fees.

SALVAGE YARD RENEWAL: Please use the Salvage Yard Renewal to start the annual routing/inspection process required to obtain your annual license. Once completed and approved our license will be issued. Pay your fees in January regardless of the routing not completed to avoid late fees.
