Pueblo Police Make Arrest After Investigation of City’s Sixth Homicide

Pueblo, CO— Moses Wagner, 49, was arrested on July 2, 2025, in connection with the death of Victoria Brandon Delira-Alires, 39, on June 29, 2025. Wagner was taken into custody by the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop conducted for a fictitious license plate and illegal window tint at approximately 6:34 p.m. in the 1600 block of Santa Fe Drive.

During the investigation, law enforcement gathered sufficient evidence to obtain an arrest warrant for Wagner in the death of Delira-Alires. Wagner was booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center on a class 4 felony charge of Manslaughter. 

Delira-Alires’ death is recorded as Pueblo’s sixth homicide in 2025. A homicide is defined as the killing of one person by another. This classification does not indicate a determination of lawfulness. The Pueblo County Coroner will identify the deceased victim after appropriate notifications.

Pueblo Police Department Investigates Sixth Homicide of 2025

Pueblo, CO― On June 29, 2025, at approximately 11:53 a.m., Pueblo Police officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Pine Street after a report of an injured female. Officers arrived on the scene and located a female victim with a possible gunshot wound, who was pronounced deceased by fire rescue. The Pueblo County Coroner will identify the deceased victim after appropriate notifications. 

Detectives from the Crimes Against Persons and Crime Scene Investigations Divisions arrived quickly and took over the investigation. The investigation is ongoing with no determination of charges at the time of this release. 

This marks the City’s sixth homicide in 2025. A homicide is defined as the killing of one person by another. This classification does not indicate a determination of lawfulness.
