Road Closures on HWY 47/Cesar Chavez Blvd between Jerry Murphy Rd and I-25 on April 2 at 9:30 a.m.

Pueblo, CO― The Pueblo Police Department will temporarily close eastbound Hwy 47/Cesar Chavez Blvd at Hwy 50 West (exit 101) and westbound from Jerry Murphy Rd to I-25 for a traffic accident investigation.

The closure will occur on Wednesday, April 2 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Traffic Impacts

• Full closure of: 
  • Eastbound Hwy 47/Cesar Chavez Blvd (exit 101)
  • Westbound Hwy 47/Cesar Chavez Blvd from Jerry Murphy Rd to Dillon Dr. 
• Wednesday, April 2 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
• Detours will be in place:
  • Option 1 (eastbound travel on Hwy 47/Cesar Chavez Blvd): Take the Hwy 50 West (exit 101), turn left on Elizabeth St, turn left on 29^th St. travel to I-25 and enter southbound to US 50 east (exit 100A)
  • Option 2 (westbound travel on Hwy 47/Cesar Chavez Blvd): From Jerry Murphy Rd, continue south on Jerry Murphy Rd, turn right (south) onto on Bonforte Blvd, turn right on US 50 east, and travel to I-25 north or south to resume travel
  • Option 3 (westbound travel on Hwy 47/Cesar Chavez Blvd): Traffic will be permitted to enter onto westbound Hwy 47/Cesar Chavez Blvd from southbound Dillon Dr.
