Pueblo Police Department Makes Arrest in Fourth Homicide in 2025
Pueblo, CO― On April 15, 2025, at approximately 8:33 p.m., Pueblo Police responded to the 600 block of Main St. after a report of an assault. Officers arrived on the scene and located an unresponsive male victim who was transported to a local hospital.
As a result of the investigation of the incident, officers arrested and charged Ryan Ramos, 42, with 1st Degree Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Financial Device, and warrants for Failure to Appear and two counts of Fugitive of Justice.
The victim in this case died as a result of his injuries on April 25, 2025. Ramos’ assault charge has been upgraded to 1st Degree Murder.
The Pueblo County Coroner will identify the deceased victim after appropriate notifications. This marks the City’s fourth homicide in 2025.
