Pueblo and Active Pueblo-PACE (Pueblo Active Community Environments) are helping to celebrate the National Park Service’s Centenary and the 40th Anniversary of the Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) by participating in the first Bike Your Park Day on Saturday, September 24, 2016. The event also celebrates National Public Lands Day.
For the fans of urban trails, we will be riding from Pueblo Boulevard to the North Marina of the Lake Pueblo State Park. We plan to stop somewhere along the way for refreshments.
All the paved bike paths of this wonderful park have been repaved this year and they are smooth as silk. In the park alone there are about 15 miles of paths, and it’s about 18 miles from Pueblo Boulevard to the North Marina and back.
Please meet us at 9:30 am in the dirt lot at the corner of Nature Center Boulevard and North Pueblo Boulevard. There is quite a lot of parking there, or of course, you can ride your bike from downtown or wherever you want!

By the way, Bike Your Park day is wonderfully and apparently coincidentally on the same weekend as the Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival. How many more reasons do you need to come to Pueblo?!?!
