The project was spearheaded by the former Pueblo City Council District 3 Representative Randy Thurston and the El Camino Neighborhood Association. It was funded through capital improvement funds from the Colorado Lottery and County Bond Question 1-A Funds.
The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday at 3:30 pm. It will be held at Starlite Park on the corner of Northern Ave (Hwy 78) and Surfwood Lane. For more information contact the Pueblo Parks and Recreation Department office at 719-553-2790.
