Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo

Phase III A-2 (Visitors' Center / Veterans' Bridge)

As part of the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo (HARP) Visitors' Center and Veterans' Bridge projects, the Planning and Community Development Department secured a grant from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) - Energy Impact Assistance Fund (EIAF) in the amount of $65,000 to assist in the cost for the construction of both projects.

The project included the construction of a 460-square-foot building addition including the installation of a new HVAC system. The department staff administered the grant contract and reports on the expenditure of the funds, and secured approval for the release of the grant funds to the city. The overall project - totaling $172,072 - was funded with Community Development Block Grants (CDBGs) and EIAF funds.
