Receive State Accident Reports

Effective March 31, 2025, the Pueblo Police Department will be utilizing the State of Colorado crash reporting website for all traffic accident counter reports. This website will be used under the following circumstances.

• Minor crash with no injury.
• All vehicles are able to be removed from the scene.
• Driver exchange information on scene (Name, Telephone number, Insurance information).
• Private property accidents.
• Accidents involving wildlife.

The accidents reported on the State of Colorado website will not be investigated by the Pueblo Police Department and no citations will be issued.

The website to report these types of crashes can be found at report a crash. Once on the website scroll down to “If a Police Officer Was Not Present at the Scene,” where you will then click on the underlined area which says, “file a crash report online.”
