The 5th annual Police vs. Fire, ICE CUP charity hockey game is set for Saturday November 13th at the Pueblo Ice Arena (100 N. Grand Ave.). Southern Colo. Safe Streets Task Force

In January 1992, the FBI announced the Safe Streets Violent Crime Initiative, designed to allow each field office to address violent street gangs and drug-related violence through the establishment of FBI sponsored, long-term, proactive task forces focusing on violent gangs, crime of violence, and the apprehension of violent fugitives.

VAPP (Volunteers Assisting Pueblo Police)

Volunteers Assisting Pueblo Police (VAPP), of the Community Services Division is yet another way the Pueblo Police Department is connecting with the community. The goal of VAPP is to provide strong partnerships between the community and the Pueblo Police Department through volunteerism, enhancing the effectiveness of police operations through the provision of administrative and supportive services.
