Police vs. Fire “Ice Cup” Charity Ice Hockey Game
The “Ice Cup” is one of Pueblo’s largest hockey events. The annual game consisting of Police and law enforcement members from our community competing against our local Fire Fighters makes for a very unique and competitive event! The charity game takes place once every November and funds raised help support youth related projects, programs, and partnerships.
Since its inception in 2016, Ice Cup has generated over $50,000 to help the youth out in our community. The players who donate their own time to practice and play have also kicked in over $3,000.00! The event wouldn’t be possible without our community support and community partners who continue to support the event and its efforts. Please look for the official Ice Cup Facebook Event page or follow us on the web at www. Icecup.us for updates to the annual event. For more information please contact Cpl. Brandon Beauvais at the Pueblo Police Department (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The 5th annual
Police vs. Fire “Ice Cup”
Charity Ice Hockey Game
is a Go!
Noted as the largest hockey event in Pueblo; this family-friendly, competitive, community event continues to grow each and every year. This year’s game has been set for Saturday November 14, 2020 at the Pueblo Ice Arena located in downtown Pueblo.
Funds raised support several programs the Pueblo Police Department coordinates for our underprivileged children in need along with several youth programs to include the Pueblo Police Explorers.
The main fundraising effort the Ice Cup supports is our annual Heroes and Helpers event. This program in 2019 took over 60 kids on a shopping spree with local law enforcement officers who volunteer their time prior to Christmas.
Ice Cup also assists with our ongoing proactive positive community policing efforts. For many children, parents, and families involved, this positive interaction with our local heroes goes a long way where trust and good relations can be established and built upon.
A Silent Auction will also be taking place (online) to benefit the Pueblo Police Explorer program. Please follow our Facebook event page Ice Cup 2020 for further information coming soon!
Latest Update: 10/15/2020
Due to COVID-19 we unfortunately will only be allowed to have 100 guests this year. We intend to auction these tickets (online) prior to the event starting October 31st through November 7th. Please stay tuned for updates.
For those that still wish to support and watch the game off site, there will be a Live Streamed event at the Pueblo Convention Center (Saturday November 14th doors open at 12:15 pm) with food and drink options available on two large big screens.
