With this announcement, this grand school will be eligible for preservation funds in the future,” said Mayor Gradisar. “I look forward to the day when Keating Junior High is filled with activity once again,” said Mayor Gradisar.

Keating Junior High School District 20 was built in 1923 in the renaissance style is named after J.F. Keating. It was used as a junior high and middle school and later as an alternative school for Pueblo School District 60. In 2009, the school was shuttered.
