[ARCHIVED] Pueblo Transit will reinstate fares on September 1, 2020

PUEBLO – Beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2020, City of Pueblo Transit bus fares, which were reduced to help Puebloans during the COVID-19 shutdown and social distancing restrictions, will be reinstated.

Bus fares will continue to be free for K-12 students with a valid student ID.
Customer service representatives will be available from 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Mon-Fri, and 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Sat to answer any fare and route questions, at 719-553-2729.

Pueblo Transit is requiring face masks be worn to board and for the duration of the trip. To the extent possible, riders must observe social distancing while on the bus, by selecting a seat that maximizes their distance between other passengers and the bus driver.

Bus ridership will be strictly limited to a 15-passenger limit. Standby buses are available for overflow passengers on an as needed basis and will be dispatched by bus drivers when a passenger is unable to board due to capacity constraints.
