Renovations to begin at Beckwood Park - The park is located at 3100 Lakeview on the City's southside. The irrigation system is one of the oldest park irrigation systems and is ranked highest in priority for replacement. The playground was recently removed due to safety concerns. Trees will be removed from the interior of the park. In the spring, the entire area will be re-seeded and new trees will be planted on the perimeter.

The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking donations or sponsors to help fund a new playground and additional improvements in the park.
