[ARCHIVED] Sports Team Photographer Wanted!

The Pueblo Parks and Recreation Department is currently soliciting proposals from qualified vendors interested in providing photography services for our youth sports during calendar years 2014-2016 (two years). Our current youth sports programs include basketball, t-ball, pitching machine, flag football with the possibility of additional programs. Our youth sports programs garner approximately 4,000 participants between the ages of 5 and 14. While photographs are not included in our registration fees, we would like to give every participant the opportunity to purchase photos at their own cost. To ensure that our participants are receiving the best possible photograph at the best possible price, please consider the following when submitting your proposal:
?Pictures will be taken at a time and location convenient to the participants of the program.
?Include prices and types of packages for the next 3 years when submitting your proposal. Please provide a price breakdown for each year.
?Does your company offer any type of incentive program? Commission back to agency
?Does your company offer a free team picture for the coach and/or a sponsor?
?Does your company mail the pictures back to the participants or do you deliver them to the agency to distribute? If you do mail them out – does that cost the participant more money?
?How quickly will pictures be returned to the participants?
?Do you have staff available to assist with picture day logistics?
?Will your company create a picture day schedule for teams (with assistance of our staff)?
?Please include information regarding your company’s background and financial stability.
?Samples of previous photography demonstrating quality must accompany the proposal.
?All monetary transactions for the photo service will be handled through the contracted vendor. The City of Pueblo will have nothing to do with any monetary transactions for this service.
Proposals must be submitted no later than Monday, November 15, 2013 by 5 pm. The company receiving the photo bid will be notified by December 2, 2013.
All services should be performed with a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Qualified vendors must provide “Proof of Insurance” and possess a City of Pueblo Sales Tax License.
