    Join the Colorado Department of Transportation in its supplier open house in CDOT’s Region 2 - Pueblo/Southeast Colorado. CDOT staff will be available to help suppliers register on the CDOT bid portal for goods and services and teach them how to navigate the system. Suppliers can meet onsite with CDOT program managers and buyers.   2. Pueblo Parks and Recreation and The Colorado Health Foundation are building a playground!

    Help is needed to prepare for this exciting day. On October 13, 2018 volunteers from The City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation and The Colorado Health Foundation will build a great new place for kids to play in ONE day. The playground will be installed at Donley Park at 2310 W 15th St, 81003. The project is in partnership with KaBOOM!, the national nonprofit dedicated to giving kids the childhood they deserve by bringing play to those who need it most. There will be a project kick off meeting on August 15, 2018, so mark your calendar! The meeting will be led by the KaBOOM! Project Manager and will include a portion for both children and adults. Meeting: August 15, 2018 at Hyde Park Community Center 2119 W 16th St, Pueblo, CO 81003 .

    Calling all Athletes and Parents! Dr. Lucas King is a sports fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in the care of athletes at the high school, collegiate and professional level as well as weekend warriors. Dr. King provides a wide range of orthopedic care and specializes in disorders of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, performing minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. He also performs joint replacement for arthritis. Dr. King serves as a team physician for CSU-Pueblo athletics. Dr. King completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama where he trained with world-renowned orthopedic surgeons. He was the assistant team physician for Auburn University football and Shades Valley High School football. Dr. King also assisted in care for athletes from University of Alabama, the Birmingham Barons minor league baseball team, WWE wrestling and the Birmingham Ballet. .
