PUEBLO—Pueblo Municipal Court participates in the annual Veterans Day Parade and is inviting the public to participate in a unique way with a photo collage. Veterans of the Pueblo community are invited to submit their photos for a collage display on the Municipal Court float.
“We are incredibly proud of the veteran community in Pueblo and would like to honor as many individuals as possible with a photo collage on our float this year,” said Presiding Judge of Municipal Court Judge Sikes. “Many people like to attend the parade rather than riding a float, this gives them a different way of participating and being included in the way Municipal Court would like to honor veterans this year.”
Veterans of the Pueblo community are invited to share their photos of serving in the military, regardless of branch or duration served by submitting them via email to veteranfloat@pueblo.us. The deadline to submit photos is Monday, Nov. 6, 2023.
The Veterans Day Parade is held on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 10:00 a.m. with the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce. This is the 22nd annual event and is held in downtown Pueblo on Union Avenue.
