
Pueblo Police Investigate Overnight Homicide on City’s East Side
On Thursday, September 21, 2023, at approximately 11:12 P.M., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of East 4th Street. When officers arrived, they discovered a deceased adult male lying on the ground who appeared to have been shot. Detectives responded and are investigating this incident as a homicide.
A person of interest has been identified and is in custody for other related charges. However, they have not been arrested for the homicide at this time as this is an active and ongoing investigation. Updated information will be released when it becomes available.
The deceased male will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office at the appropriate time.
