PUEBLO—The City of Pueblo is seeking applicants for the Pueblo City-County Library Board of Trustees with two available positions. The individuals for the position are required to serve five-year terms which will begin January 1, 2023.
The Library District Board of Trustees endorses expenditures, formulates and approves the annual budget, presents the library’s program to the community, hires the director and delegates the operation and management of the library to them. Members of the Board attend monthly board meetings and any regular or ad hoc committee meetings.
The Pueblo City-County Library District Board of Trustees is comprised of seven members. Members are appointed by two representatives from the City Council and two representatives from the County Commissioners to 5-year terms.

The application deadline is Nov. 14. The Pueblo City-County Library District appointees will be ratified before Pueblo City Council on December 12.
Other open applications with a deadline of Nov. 14 includes the Community Commission on Housing and Homelessness which has appointments available for one, two or three-year terms. Additionally, the Pueblo Human Relations Commission has two City of Pueblo appointments to serve a three-year term and one joint youth appointment available to serve a one-year term. The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center Board has three City appointments available to serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2023.
Individuals may apply to serve on any board at any time, even if there are no current vacancies. The City of Pueblo is accepting applications to fill vacancies for the ADA Advisory Committee, Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control & Greenway District Governing Board, an Annual Pass Holder for Walking Stick Golf Course on the Pueblo Municipal Course Advisory Committee, Pueblo Energy Advisory Commission, Pueblo Human Relations Commission, Pueblo Memorial Airport Advisory Committee and the Pueblo Regional Building Boards of Appeals.
