On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at approximately 6:28 a.m., Pueblo Police were sent to the 700 block of Wilson Ave. on a report of an assault which occurred on the walking trail near the W. 4^th St. bridge. Officers found a victim who had been struck by a blunt object several times, causing injury to the victim.
