Update on the Regional Comprehensive Plan Process
Since December 2020, over 900 individuals have shared their ideas and observations about Pueblo County—what they love about living here (or not), what their hopes and dreams are for the future of the region, and what’s important to their local communities and neighborhoods. At the same time, the project team has been exploring trends and existing conditions in different parts of Pueblo County—population, demographics, land use, transportation, infrastructure, housing, agriculture, natural resources, jobs, and many other factors that will influence how and where we grow in the future.
Upcoming Community Meetings: Preliminary Plan Framework
The Preliminary Plan Framework articulates what we’ve heard and learned so far, and establishes the “big ideas” for the new Pueblo County Regional Comprehensive Plan. Now, we want to hear from all members of the Pueblo County community—have we heard you correctly? Are we headed in the right direction? This is your plan, Pueblo—join us for an upcoming meeting and tell us what you think!
- Community Meeting 1 (Mid-day option): May 4, 11:30-1:00pm
- Community Meeting 2 (Evening option 1): May 4, 5:30-7:00pm
- Community Meeting 3 (Evening option 2): May 6, 5:30-7:00pm
