Mayor Nick Gradisar will hold his monthly ‘Community Connections’ this Friday, July 10. And for the first time in several months, the public will be able to attend in person. This month’s ‘Community Connections’ will be held at the HARP, at the Boettcher Natural Area (Amphitheater) located at the southeast end of the Riverwalk near the intersection of Alan Hamel and Santa Fe Avenues and will begin at 9:00am.
Since the coronavirus pandemic began, the mayor has hosted the meetings in City Council Chambers without in-person participation. Social distancing will be encouraged at the meeting and anyone attending is also encouraged to wear a mask.
‘Community Connections’ is ordinarily held on the first Friday of each month but was pushed back a week in July in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The mayor has received a positive response to his ‘Community Connections’ public meetings and is looking forward to hearing more from residents about their thoughts and feelings on issues centering on Pueblo.
Members of the public can submit questions to the mayor prior to the gathering at firstname.lastname@example.org or during the live streaming on Facebook on the mayor’s page.
