Citizens of Pueblo,
I would like to assure the citizens of Pueblo that as Mayor, I am working collaboratively with the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment (PDPHE) to monitor the situation involving the Coronavirus/COVID-19 impact on our community.
The Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment, under the leadership of Mr. Randy Evetts, Public Health Director has the lead for the City and County of Pueblo as the primary source of information and guidance to the City.
The City of Pueblo and Pueblo County have a joint emergency management program. There is a specific plan with communicable disease directives and protocols in place to address this current health situation.
I encourage all citizens to follow the directives and guidance from our local health authorities to do everything we can to safeguard against the virus. The City of Pueblo is instituting measures to insure we can continue to provide essential services to our citizens as this situation develops. Updates will be posted on the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment website at pueblohealth.org
Respectfully,
Nicholas Gradisar Mayor
